Psalm 151
My heart is overwhelmed
By the love of my God;
His faithfulness is like no other.
When I was down,
He didn’t leave me or neglect my need
But instead gave me rest;
Restored my soul
Brought me back to health,
Didn’t expect me to do, but just be.
Knew my weakness, my frustration
Brought me to my feet
So that I could run again.

Emily Allen prepared a thorough workshop with visual presentation on photography, inspiring us to see the ordinary in daily life as something exquisite with marvelously endless possibilities. Can we ever see crayons the same way again? Were you inspired to start a photo project of your own? We invite you to share how your creativity was triggered through this workshop. (thank you, Emily!)

We were impressed with the exuberant creativity of SHE women as we viewed the rows of old, bland t-shirts given the Cinderella transformation. Thanks, Michelle, for releasing this! Those of you who are creators of these designs–what was this experience like for you?

Quite a few shared at the bonfire how they were able to spend some valuable time with God in stillness as you engaged in this brief prayer journey that was set up at the assembly room and in the gazebo by the lake (thanks, SHE Creates team!). We were moved by the few and know that many have heard from, embraced and set free by God during this experience. Would you share some here? Below are just a few pix from this experience. You can also request the guidebook in PDF form so that you can experience it in your own quiet, still space.

Psalm 151

Lord,

You guide me through my life

with Your arms around me

You hold my hand;

You keep me from falling

Though I may stumble

You will not let me fall

for You hold me firmly by the hand

When I walk the days of my life with You,

I am sure-footed

My steps are secure

My breath is even

With You in my life

I have no room for fear

I enjoy each moment of Your presence with me

When I consider the scope of Your plan for me

I fall down to my knees

I am overwhelmed with wonder

at Your love and Your thoughts toward me

I marvel at Your gentleness

and at Your majesty

When I hear just one thought from You

it captivates me for days

My greatest joy

is in getting to know You

and in growing to be the person You desire me to be

I pour out my life with gladness before You.
